OUR STORY
Break Through the Roof takes its name from the Gospel account of the paralysed man whose friends carried him to Jesus. When the conventional entrance was blocked by the crowd, they went onto the roof, created an opening and lowered their friend into the presence of Jesus.
The programme draws three practical breakthrough principles from that account: Break through limitations and find another way. Carry and allow relationships, mentorship, sponsorship and community to matter. Believe, seek God, prepare wisely and act responsibly.
Break Through the Roof is unapologetically Christian, Scripture-heavy and non-denominational. It exists to serve the wider Body of Christ while remaining open to non-Christians who respect its Christian foundation.

THE FACILITATOR
Sunil Sewpersadh is the founder and facilitator of Break Through the Roof. He is a Christian entrepreneur, trainer and ministry-trained counsellor who accepted Jesus Christ in 2004 and has served in various departments within the local church.
Over the years he has worked with churches, ministries and Christian organisations in South Africa and abroad. His passion is helping people recognise their God-given worth and potential, develop practical skills and see possibilities they may not have considered before.
A defining part of his training experience is what he calls “when the penny drops”: the moment somebody suddenly sees that they can actually do something they previously believed was beyond them.
EXPERIENCE IN ACTION
Break Through the Roof combines biblical principles with practical marketplace experience. The programme does not pretend entrepreneurship, career growth or digital transformation are easy. It draws on real-world lessons, mistakes, customers, technology changes, marketing, training and adaptation.
